semi-wordless wednesday: violence unsilenced

Today marks the first anniversary of Violence Unsilenced.

For those of you who are all what the heck is Violence UnSilenced?, it's a forum for victims of domestic violence and abuse to tell their stories. I shared my story last May.

Watch the video here, or click through to watch it at Violence UnSilenced.

  3. Right on, my dear. You captured it perfectly, and thank you for the perspective. Powerful, powerful stuff.

I'm glad you spoke up. Always speak up.

  4. I read that last year. I don't even know if I regularly read your blog then. I don't think I did because I never put that story to your name. But I remember thinking about that post for months afterwards.
That happens over and over in so many relationships. Marriages, even. Every day. It's terrible.

    I love you, lady.
YOu are amazing and strong and victorious, and never let a day go by that you don't remember that and acknowledge that about yourself.
