tps

What I should be doing is writing a blog post about the incredible people I met yesterday.  I should be writing about how 77kids and The Motherhood threw an amazing event called Do Good Day and thanks to them, the incredible women I met yesterday (and also a husband... he was pretty great, too... almost called him lovely, but he doesn't really know me and might not understand that lovely is the highest compliment in my book).

I should be writing that post.  But I'm hot. And tired. And the male short people are not cooperating with the Quiet Time Edict.  And I want to go yell at them.  The school just called and I didn't fill out my TPS Reports... not just improperly, I totally did. not. do. them.  And by TPS reports I mean the quarterly reports that responsible homeschooling families fill out.  And I had to go to the doctor today because I've been feeling awful for too long and when she cultured my throat for strep, well, let's just say that I've had quicker sex in my life.  Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but seriously.  That Q-tip was ten kinds of fresh with me.

So now I'm eating leftover mac and cheese with a flat fork and I have no idea how that fork got to be flat.  In fact, I have no idea how I got here in the first place.

  2. I know that feeling... in fact I get it almost everyday around this time. So impressed with homeschooling, toying with the idea myself.

  3. This post was not meant to be funny, but it made ME laugh!

Homeschooling is sheer bravery, by the way.
