hand knit socks are the best. learn from me: do not knit your husband socks out of the kindness of your heart because then he'll refuse to wear store bought socks and demand knit socks. men feet are big and men socks take forever.
Those look great! I decided to try to knit last year, but then the whole wedding thing... my "scarf" is about 4 inches long and seems to get wider as it goes... maybe in 20 years I can start on some socks.
