fatty pants mcgee

Y'all are really sweet to say such nice things about my baby belly.  Good work, keep it coming, it's going to be a long seven plus weeks.  And this is why.

The Kindly Ultrasound Lady measured Fatty Pants McGee to be weighing between 4.5 pounds and 6 pounds (yes, there's a big difference there, I know, ultrasound isn't perfect).

And that weight?  Translates into an 11 - 13 pound baby.

I am a little hurting now just thinking about that.

On the upside, I probably would never have to stop what I was doing to use the bathroom ever again.

  1. Hello from Utah!
Thanks for the comments on my blog! I will be drawing a name first thing in the morning.
Sorry I missed out on your drawing, but I had to write and tell you how much I enjoyed reading some of your blog posts! You are a great writer!
    Have a great day!

  2. You know you don't get a prize for biggest baby, right? It's not the county fair after all. :)

As for me, Elliot was 5 lbs 14 oz and I thought that hurt. Maybe because they sawed me in half to rip him out of my abdomen. Good luck pushing that turkey out your vajayjay!

  3. ha ha ! oh man, that IS scary!

  4. Don't get too worried yet. They measured CR at 10lbs and she was a measley 7.11.

    Thinking of you!

  5. All I can say is..........daaaaaang.

I thought I was a big one at 9.14. Maybe Fatty Pants McGee is just messing with everyone and doesn't really weigh much at all.

  6. OOF. Thats all I can say. Just OOF!

  7. All the shorties have been larger than expected so far.

And Catherine? The county fair comparison made me spray coffee. Thanks for that.

  8. Yeah, it's not that accurate. They measured Avery at over 7 pounds when I had 6 weeks to go, and she only ended up weighing 9 lbs 13 oz.

I guess that's not very reassuring.

  9. they told me lincoln was going to be big; at least 9. he was 7.11.
but maybe you'll be the lucky duck to have the first accurate measurement!!
you should so do a guess-the-baby-weight contest. winner can get nightly diaper duty for the first 6 weeks of your babe's life.

talk to me, people. because you know i get all giddy when you do.
