holy field day, batman

There is just so much fabulous material to be had from tonight's VP debate.

I have taken spectacular notes.

I will only address issues, not use of grammar, bizarre pronounciations, and misuse of the English language in general. Tomorrow.

To tide you over, I will give you what could be the Energy Recommendation of the Year:

"I don't wanna argue about the cause of climate change... We need to positively affect the impacts of climate change... We need to focus on conserving our hydrocarbons." *

Dadgonnit, that's a heckuva idea. Let's tell the government to get off our kitchen tables, fight noocoolar weapons, fix our in-fuh-structure. And to every regular old American that you might find at your kid's soccer game, all you Joe-Six-Packs out there, I wantcha tah knooow that ever-thing? Issss gonnah be oo-kay. You betcha.

Now that *THAT'S* out of my system, I'll do a much better job dissecting the debate tomorrow. Apologies toooo ever-buddy that's got thar oondies een a boonch. Really.

*Oh, yes. Yes she did.

  1. I can't tell you the number of times Ryan and I looked at each other in complete and utter disbelief last night. As in, "did she really say that?" and, "what the hell is she talking about?"

  2. ...and to think some of the comment-ers said 'she' did soooo well....

How about "oh Joe - whadaya know"... truly eloquent!!

  3. I have to admit that I think she handled herself better than she did with Katie Curic! But Man, God bless her for wanting to be "Joeblow american", but she made herself sound dumb a couple times! SNL is gonna have a Hay-day with her, I can't wait! I thought Biden was just as annoying with his "A. Number One, First of All" liners, I think I counted 10X he did that and his "track record" facts blah blah blah! Like Palin said, your talking about the past move on here old timer! And Damn with the Mavrick thing, That's gotta stop people! But, I still have to say that Biden looks and acts like a Career Politician and I just can't trust anyone who's teeth are that FRICKIN WHITE!!! And Palin, well part of me thinks that it would be cool to see what "JoeSixPack' would do in the white house, I think she could do alot of good for our economy and things going on here in the US, but man is she clueless (as most of us Joesixpacks are) about Foreign policy!

and that's all I have to say about that!

  4. All the mention of Maverick last night made me long for the time that when I hear that word, I would think of a sweaty Val Kilmer and not of John McCain. (That's 1980's Kilmer, not the bloated being he's become. I'd even take "Heat" Kilmer)

  5. Mmmmmmm...Val Kilmer back in the day before he was pushed out and oldish. Yummy.

  7. Just found your blog. I am totally loving you. Really. Want to get married? I am about to confess on my mommy blog my shameful desire to get in line to purchase "Sarah Palin Glasses". God I really want them. But it makes me feel dirty. I'm gonna go take a shower.

  8. If you called them "Dirty Librarian Glasses" it wouldn't be so SPish. And, as a plus, it's okay to feel a little dirty in Dirty Librarian Glasses. Because, DUH! That's what they're there for!

  9. Great idea! And if I just keep saying it over and over again, even though it is painfully obvious that I am lying, people will believe it anyway!

  10. Some people will believe anything despite all evidence to the contrary.

talk to me, people. because you know i get all giddy when you do.
